White Nokia Lumia 900 Models Run Out

It seems that the black-colored Nokia Lumia 900 is the only model available for the moment as the supply of the other color options are currently limited. The white and cyan color options of the Nokia Lumia 900 are currently out of stock according to the Lumia 900 page of AT&T (NYSE:T), which is also being experienced by the retail outlets of the mobile service provider.

The current shortage in the supply of the Nokia Lumia 900 was also confirmed by a representative from Nokia. According to the Nokia (NYSE:NOK) representative, the popularity of the white and cyan colored models of the Nokia Lumia 900 was not expected by the company.

Due to this, it has not been easy to locate these models in the retail outlets of AT&T. The company is currently working on producing more units of all color variants of the Nokia Lumia 900 and the delivery of the product is being made daily.

Other retailers are also facing the same shortages in their inventories with Best Buy showing the availability of the cyan and black colored options of eth Nokia Lumia 900. On the other hand, Amazon has indicated that the black-colored model is currently available but the white-colored option is currently unavailable. The cyan model is currently slated for delivery after around nine days.

However some industry watchers have speculated that the shortage may be due to the limited stocks of the device and it may not be related to the demand for the Nokia Lumia 900. It may also be a combination of a limited initial supply and strong demand.

Following its release into the market recently, the first issue that faced users of the Nokia Lumia 900 was a software glitch that prevented the connection into the data network of AT&T. However this was promptly dealt with by the company with the release of a fix.

The Nokia Lumia 900 is currently trying to create its own niche in the smartphone market that is currently dominated by Android and iOS devices as both Microsoft and Nokia are hoping that it will allow them to increase their share of the mobile market.
