The Asus N Series laptop was recently showcased in a YouTube video which emphasized its Blue-ray drive of the Asus (TPE:2357) device despite having a slim design and the latest processor from Intel (NASDAQ:INTC) and elegant appearance.
The design of the Asus N Series laptops was highlighted in the video. The current design is somewhat slimmer compared to the previous models of the device as the upcoming Asus N Series laptops are thinner by around ten millimeters compared to the earlier models.
However the Asus N Series laptops were not called ultrabooks by the company although some industry watchers have indicated that it may have a thickness of around twenty millimeters.
The cover on the Asus N Series laptops appears to have a brushed finish that blends well with the design of the speaker grilles.
The video has indicated that the device will feature the latest CPU and GPU components, which suggests that it may come with the Ivy Bridge processor of Intel along with the Kepler graphics chip of Nvidia (NASDAQ:NVDA). The Kepler chip that is used on the Aspire Timeline UM3 of Acer (TPE:2353) has shown its impressive performance in gaming despite being used on a rather slim device. This resulted to expectations among industry watchers that the upcoming Asus N Series laptops will also offer a similar user experience.
The isolated keys of the keyboard of the device are similar to the ones being used on the MacBook Pro of Apple (NASDAQ:AAPL). Typing in the dark will not pose a problem for users due to its backlighting while the speakers offer a notable audio experience for users of the Asus N Series laptops.
The Asus N Series laptops also feature a similar subwoofer of the older models of the device, which would enhance its audio performance.
For the moment, the release schedule of the Asus N Series laptops remains uncertain although it may be revealed soon enough by the company.
