Stock delays in the blue variant of the Samsung Galaxy S3 have apparently reached the UK with users who pre-ordered the sim-free and unlocked handset in "Pebble Blue" color being informed that inventories are not expected until the coming week. Retailer clove was the first to prompt customers about the problem saying that Samsung has verified a delay in the initial stock's arrival with the specific availability to be confirmed soon. In the meantime, there is also a slight delay in the Galaxy S3 model in "Marble White" color.
The issues on the Galaxy S3 in Pebble Blue first came out in the past week. At that time, a manufacturing problem was blamed. Because of that, Samsung needed to ditch hundred thousands of casings in that color. As for the white model, no announcement has been made to explain its delay.

A spokesperson of Vodafone in the UK released a statement saying that all customers who pre-ordered the 16GB Galaxy S3 in white should expect to get their phone on the 30th of May which is the launch date in the country. The statement also mentioned that there has also been an advise of delays in the shipping of the 32 GB Galaxy S3 in marble white and pebble blue as well as the 16 GB pebble blue S3.
Vodafone said that it is closely working with Samsung to make sure that devices reach its customers in the soonest possible time and it will directly contact them to give them an advise on the progress of their orders. Moreover, it informs their customers that the Galaxy S3 has become the highly pre-ordered device in the phones they offer. Because of this, it is very important to the company to have the handset as soon as possible just like the customers do.
Clove said that the stocks of the Galaxy S3 in Marble White are currently anticipated to arrive on the 1st of June instead of the originally expected date which is the 30th of May. The initial stocks of the blue version are anticipated to arrive the week that starts on June 5 but it is not yet confirmed.
Customers who have made pre-orders of the phone got an email that cautions them of the recent delays. But, Samsung has not yet made any official comment on the issue.
