Facebook is by far the leading social networking interface on the world wide web and while it is well known for its access on personal computers, Facebook has been doing well on the iPhone and it has been announced that the Facebook for iPhone program has gotten a facelift. The new tweaks to the Facebook for iPhone program is now making it possible to do a lot more things from the phone just like as if you were at a computer.
Some of the new updates for the Facebook for iPhone are unfriendly buddies from your iPhone instead of having to go to the website. There is also the new and popular Facebook Places program.
What this does is allow for a person to find a friend and click on an icon and see the last place where the person checked in at according to the Google Maps feature. With the iPhone you can tap the screen and the map will become full size on the screen.
There is also the event check-ins where it shows where a person has arrived at a particular destination ie. a friend's party. The check-in feature has been around for a while but now with it being easily accessible with the iPhone, it should drive and convince people to use it alot more often.
