Faiz Aly of A, a team focusing on research, finding leaks and other information about the soon to be released Apple products recently sent an email containing two photos that were believed to be leaked images of the iPhone 5 from the keynote presentation of Apple at the 2012 WWDC. Although it is not certain if the image depicts how the phone will exactly look like, it may be possible for it to appear that way because its source has already given the right information in the past. In case the photo is really the actual iPhone 5 then here are some of the new features it may have.
When the pictures are carefully scrutinized, it appears that the phone will have 4G because an icon indicates that. This has been a rumored feature of the upcoming iPhone version for so long but it cannot be determined from the image alone if the type of 4G will be the plain one or the 4G LTE type. Both kinds of 4G are the same but the LTE version is way faster because its download rate is 12 mbps rather than 5 to 6 mbps.
Aside from 4G, the taskbar of the iPhone 5 seems noticeably bigger when the image is placed side by side with the previous iPhone versions. The exact difference in the size may not be exactly determined yet. However, the pictures seem to show that its display screen has a size of 3.7 to 4.3 inches.
Finally the last feature that the iPhone 5 may have based on the leaked photos is the slightly larger receiver that it has compared to other iPhones. This may be due to the bigger overall size of the phone. It also looks like the front facing camera is a little larger although this does not say anything if the camera is better compared to the previous phones.
