At a time when Nokia has almost walked away from the development of alternative mobile platform MeeGo, other major mobile phone manufacturers have shown interest in the operating system. It must be recalled that the Finnish company has recently chosen Windows Phone as the primary operating system for its smartphones, although the company plans to release at least one device based on MeeGo this year.
