Sprint has confirmed everything about its HTC EVO 4G LTE version except for the handset’s release date. With this, another report points to Sprint’s May 18 launch of the much awaited 4G LTE phone. According to Good and EVO, a dependable source gave them a tip that the EVO 4G smartphone of HTC will be available for sale on May 18. The same launch date was leaked a couple of times before which may mean that it is really the day that Sprint has set to launch the 4G LTE smartphone.
Reports have hinted that Sprint (NYSE:S) may be gradually increasing the coverage of its LTE network and it may be offered in more than six cities when it will be initially unveiled this coming June. This will allow the third biggest service provider to have its LTE network in time for the possible release of the iPhone 5 of Apple (NASDAQ:AAPL).
Images of the training manual for the Samsung Galaxy Nexus was reportedly leaked recently which suggests that the device will be released by soon. The training manual was distributed to employees of Sprint (NYSE:S) which provides them with the information needed about the device. It can be recalled that an advertisement also appeared on the website of the carrier. The advertisement showed that the Samsung Galaxy Nexus will be offered by Sprint.
