Diamond Pet Foods is recalling its Naturals Lamb Meal & Rice product voluntarily. Although there have been no reports of illnesses, the move is the company’s precautionary measure because the product may be infected with salmonella. Other products manufactured by the company are not affected.
Those who handle dry dog food may possibly be salmonella infected particularly if they are not able to wash their hands thoroughly after touching surfaces that have been exposed to the product.
