An image of the Nintendo Wii U was reportedly being circulated through Twitter even as the game manufacturer has yet to release the game console into the market.

The image has since been deleted although some tech websites were able to save the image and were able to make a comparison with the previous version of the game console from Nintendo (TYO:7974).

A Japanese retailer recently indicated that the Nintendo Wii U may be released by Nintendo (TYO:7974) on November 18. Some observers have found this date sensible since the Nintendo Wii was unveiled six years ago on November 19. The United States is expected to see the device released in its market a week before Japan.

A recent announcement by Nintendo (TYO:7974) revealed that the Nintendo Wii U console will be introduced into the market once the holiday season starts in Europe, Japan and the United States. The Nintendo Wii U will also feature a touch-card technology that is integrated into the controller.
