Almost all tablet manufacturers are speculated to introduce or release a new tablet during summer of this year. The following is a list of possible upcoming tablet according to their date of announcement or release. This month of May, the Nook Tablet by Barnes & Noble and Kindle Fire by Amazon will be released. Both tablets feature a touch screen of 7 inches.

According to data by comScore, the Kindle Fire of Amazon became the number one Android tablet last February, taking 54 percent of the entire Android tablet market share. The Galaxy Tab series of Samsung ranked second, making up 15 percent share in February, a decline from its 23 percent rating in December 2011.
