The first quarter earnings call of Intel saw more than just the performance of the company revealed as Paul Otellini, Intel (NASDAQ:INTC) CEO, announcing that the first Intel smartphone will be launched by the company soon. However he did not specify which smartphone would be unveiled by the company although some industry watchers have speculated that the first Intel smartphone may be the Lava Xolo X900 or the Lenovo K800.

An Intel smartphone may be under development. According to the reports, preparations are reportedly being made by LG to introduce an Intel smartphone during the Consumer Electronics Show within the month. The report also indicated that spokespersons from the Intel (NASDAQ:INTC) and LG reportedly revealed the information. However it appears that LG has reportedly denied the report.
