Recently, ASUS announced through its Twitter account that it will soon roll out the upgrade of the latest Android operating system known as the Ice Cream Sandwich to its United States model of the Eee Pad Slider. Asus made a confirmation that the Android 4.0 update will be available to the owners of the device very soon so owners of the Slider should regularly check their update button. All four of ASUS’ tablet line already runs on the ICS OS.

Just recently, Samsung gave out details on which of its U.S. devices will have the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich upgrade. In particular, Samsung specifically revealed the devices and the carriers that will have the upgrade in the coming days. While it gave the specifics for AT&T, Verizon and Sprint, it did not mention anything about T-Mobile.

During the 2012 Mobile World Congress, Sony has expressed their intention of giving users an update of the latest mobile operating system of Google, the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich around April this year. Just recently, the mobile manufacturer has announced that they will be providing Android 4.0 upgrades particularly for three of their Xperia phones.
