There is great news for those who own any of the phones in the line of HTC Sensation. That is, all of the users can already get an upgrade of their current phone’s OS to Android 4.0 ICS by March. But, other HTC phone users may need to wait until the latter parts of this year for the same upgrade. The announcement made by HTC via its Facebook page is already a delay of the time table it set for an ICS upgrade.
Latest reports have given indications that the HTC Sensation will be re-launched by HTC (TPE:2498) and this time the HTC Sensation will feature the Ice Cream Sandwich Android 4.0 OS along with the latest HTC Sense user interface. Due to this reported re-launch of the HTC Sensation, some industry watchers have speculated on a possible software update may be readied for the other HTC devices.
A Dutch website reveals the news that the HTC Sensation will come in a new Ice White color and it will be offered beginning March 1. Aside from this, the device will have the Android 4.0 ICS operating system. A quick glance at the HTC Sensation shows that it is somewhat similar to the HTC Sensation XE except that it does not have the Beats branding.
The Android 4.0 update for the HTC Sensation will reportedly be released in the next few weeks according to a statement made by HTC (TPE:2498). A number of versions of the HTC Sensation will be receiving the latest variation of the Android OS over the following six weeks.
