The first HD smartphone of HTC (TPE:2498) that entered the US market, the HTC Rezound, will be receiving the Ice Cream Sandwich Android 4.0 upgrade by June or July according to a blog post of the company. A number of smartphones from HTC are set to be given the Ice Cream Sandwich Android 4.0 upgrade before the end of the second quarter or near the start of the coming quarter with the HTC Rezound expected to receive an over-the-air update soon.
The price tag of the HTC Rezound was reduced recently by Verizon (NYSE:VZ), which is something rare according to a number of observers.
