Sprint has confirmed everything about its HTC EVO 4G LTE version except for the handset’s release date. With this, another report points to Sprint’s May 18 launch of the much awaited 4G LTE phone. According to Good and EVO, a dependable source gave them a tip that the EVO 4G smartphone of HTC will be available for sale on May 18. The same launch date was leaked a couple of times before which may mean that it is really the day that Sprint has set to launch the 4G LTE smartphone.
Mobile carriers are clearly starting to spoil consumers with their announcements of the newest Android phones that they offer. One of these carriers is Sprint with its announcement that it will offer the HTC Evo 4G LTE. During the launch, Sprint’s Chief Executive Officer Dan Hesse, introduced the Evo 4G LTE as an ultra-fast handset.

Reports have indicated that the latest HTC EVO phone will be a fully-loaded Android smartphone. Next week’s CTIA will reportedly be the venue for the introduction for the upcoming HTC EVO 3D, which is considered as a follow-up to the HTC 4G. Some features of this upcoming HTC EVO phone include a HD 3D display which will have a measurement of 4.3 inches.
