There is an increase in stroke among young adults and teenagers as indicated in a recent study made in the United States. The study also pointed out that Type 2 diabetes was among the factors that may be linked to strokes. Aside from Type 2 diabetes other factors that were found to be involved in strokes include smoking, obesity, high cholesterol and high blood pressure.
