Even though a number of industry watchers have indicated that the upcoming HTC One X is among the best smartphones to enter the market this year. However some have some doubts about these reviews made on one of the latest smartphone offerings of HTC (TPE:2498). The upcoming HTC One X has a notable display and its camera is similar to the one found on the iPhone 4S of Apple (NASDAQ:AAPL).
The device also features 4G LTE network support and comes with the Android 4.0 OS and the HTC Sense 4 custom user interface. However there are some features that have resulted to some misgivings of some industry watchers in purchasing the upcoming HTC One X.
A recent review of the upcoming HTC One X showed that its battery life may not be sufficient enough as HTC has reportedly put more premium on a slim design rather than a longer battery life. However the fact that the upcoming HTC One X does not have a removable battery, which means that users are stuck with the 1800mAh battery of the device.
This means that users will have to bear with the battery life of the upcoming HTC One X unless they decide to buy another smartphone.
The upcoming HTC One X does not feature a microSD memory card slot. This is comparable to the Samsung Galaxy Nexus, which does not give users the capability of expanding the memory of the device. However average users can opt to buy the 32GB version of the device. In contrast users will have to deal with the 16GB internal memory of the device. The 16GB internal storage may not be enough for a number of potential users of the upcoming HTC One X.
Although the upcoming HTC One X give users the capability of deleting some of the additional pre-loaded applications of HTC through rooting, its bootloader is locked, which will not make it possible to use custom ROMs on the device.
These are just some of the things that resulted to some misgivings by some industry watchers in purchasing the upcoming HTC One X. However the users themselves will have the final decision if they would purchase the device or not.
