Samsung Galaxy Note Vs. Motorola Droid Razr Maxx

It’s definitely the season for the battle of the Androids. Motorola and Samsung, two of the leading brands in the manufacturing of quality smartphones bring to their best handsets to date. Motorola puts forth its flagship phone which is the Motorola Droid Razr Maxx. It is equipped with the longest lasting battery in a hand phone to date. It has a screen which is covered by Corning Gorilla Glass, a scratch free and water resistant glass.
Samsung defends its crown with the Samsung Galaxy Note. It is a phablet device which has a 5.3 inch display and an S pen which enhances the applications and the features of the phone. It can be used to draw objects, or it can help the user manage his busy schedule.

The features of the two phones are both awesome. The Galaxy Note’s large Super AMOLED HD screen has a resolution of 1280 x 800 and induces 285ppi while the Droid Razr Maxx has the Corning Gorilla Glass that protects it from damage and scratch. Furthermore, it has the TouchWiz 4.0 UI which allows it to tilt, turn over and double click like the iPad.
The Motorola phone has the same features with the Note’s Super AMOLED and scratch-free screen. However, it only has a 960x540 resolution. It also has a virtual keyboard which allows users to be able to swipe and have multi-touch features.
As for what runs the two, the Samsung Note has a 1.4 GHz dual-core processor and is further enhanced with an Exynos chipset. Motorola Droid Razr Maxx is powered by a 1.2 GHz Cortex-A9 CPU and is further boosted by TI OMAP 4430 chipset.
For other features, Samsung Note has an 8 MP back camera with a LED flash and a front camera with 2 MP for self-portraits and video chats and professional features similar to a DSLR camera. The Razr Maxx has an 8 MP rear camera too and a 1.3 MP front camera users can edit, resize and crop pictures with the phone. Both phones contain 16 GB internal memory that can be further expanded by a microSD card up to 32 GB.
