Samsung Galaxy Note Ad: The Best Advertisement

The commercial for the Samsung Galaxy Note was considered as the best advertisement for the first quarter of the year. Basing on the survey of Ace Metrix, the ad for the Samsung Galaxy Note scored 686 as it outscored the advertisement for M&M and Doritos to take the first place for the first quarter of the year. The advertising campaign for the tablet/smartphone hybrid of Samsung is performing well in the market.

The commercial for the Samsung Galaxy Note was dubbed as “The Best of a Phone and Tablet” and was regarded as the most effective advertisement for the first quarter of the year. This particular advertisement for the Samsung Galaxy Note outscored the “Just My Shell” ad of M&M and the “Sling Baby” ad of Doritos as it topped the survey.

Although measuring the effectiveness of an advertisement is subjective, Ace Metrix got the reactions of viewers on the commercials being shown on televisions across the United States. This was made to clear up the rankings of the different advertisements.

A number of ad characteristics were ranked by respondents including relevance, persuasion and watchability. The ads were ranked using a 0 to 950 scale.

The commercial for the Samsung Galaxy Note scored 686 while the ads for M&M and Doritos were tied as they both scored 671.

According to Peter Daboll, the Ace Metrix CEO, it was interesting on how the impressive advertisements of Samsung for its products including the Samsung Galaxy Note affect its share of the market for the quarter in comparison to Apple. Apple reportedly did not do as well as the advertising produced by Samsung for the Samsung Galaxy Note.

The best advertisement of Samsung put across information and innovation even with the absence of a narrator, which made it exceptionally brilliant. Samsung recently revealed that sales for the Samsung Galaxy Note have reached the five million unit level ever since it was offered into the market.
