Latest reports have hinted at a possible release schedule for the Samsung Galaxy S3, the latest variant of the popular Samsung smartphone. According to a technology blogger, the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S3 will reportedly be introduced in the coming month and will enter the market by the coming quarter.
However it remains to be seen if the supposed release schedule that the Russian blogger, Eldar Murtazin, will really push through. Murtazin revealed that the Samsung Galaxy S3 will be introduced during the 2012 Mobile World Congress that will be held in Barcelona this coming February.
Following this introduction, Murtazin added that the device will be made available in the market by April. It may be possible for the Samsung Galaxy S3 to follow the release schedule of its predecessor, which was initially released in the South Korean market before it made its way to other markets including the United States.
The latest reports in connection to the Samsung Galaxy S3 also hinted at the possible features of the device. According to Murtazin, the device will feature the latest version of the Android OS, the Ice Cream Sandwich Android 4.0.
According to the sources of the report, the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S3 will also be released with an HD display screen as well as a twelve-megapixel camera at the rear. This is better compared to the camera featured on the Samsung Galaxy S2 which entered the market last year.
The first smartphone to feature the Ice Cream Sandwich Android 4.0 was the Samsung Galaxy Nexus, which feature a high definition display.
However if the reports will prove to be accurate, the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S3 will have one slight advantage over the Galaxy Nexus. The Samsung Galaxy Nexus only features a five-megapixel camera, which would not make it the right choice if users would want to take benefit from recording videos and images in high definition.
