The drafts of the latest i30 hatchback of Hyundai (SEO:005380) were released recently prior to its official launch in September’s Frankfurt Motor Show. With the release of the drafts some observers are speculating on the possibility that this may be the latest Hyundai Elantra Touring.
This latest i30 features the ‘fluidic sculpture’ design that Hyundai is known for. The latest automobile has attracted attention since it may not even be available for sale in the US.
Since the present Hundai i30 was offered in the US under the name Hyundai Elantra Touring, observers have indicated that the latest automobile from Hyundai may be offered in the US as the next-generation Hyundai Elantra Touring. The present Hyundai i30 was unveiled during the Geneva Motor Show in 2007.
The present Hyundai Elantra Touring was offered in the US market following the redesign of the Elantra sedan according to Miles Johnson of Hyundai. Since the 2011 version of the Hyundai Elantra was also redesigned recently, observers have indicated that coming of the latest version of the Hyundai Elantra Touring may be near.
Johnson added that with the model cycle, it may not be surprising to have a new automobile released by the coming year.
The design shown on the draft of the i30 is similar in structure to the Hyundai Accent and the Elantra with its hexagonal corporate grill. The design also showed that the headlights of the vehicle are spread out across the front fenders of this possible Hyundai Elantra Touring.
The arch on the front wheel also has a styling crease which runs across to the back until the taillights of the car. The company has indicated that this possible next generation Hyundai Elantra Touring offers a bold stance as well as dynamic proportions. Some observers have indicated that the possible Hyundai Elantra Touring has a more fashionable and developed appearance compared to the previous model of the vehicle.
