Samsung recently released some details of the launch event scheduled on the evening of May 29 for the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S3. The device is among the most-anticipated smartphones for the year and it appears that the South Korean company giving another incentive for consumers who pre-ordered the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S3.

The company is reportedly giving the first fifty consumers who pre-ordered the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S3 from the Samsung retail outlet at the Westfield shopping center in Stratford a free ticket to the London Olympics 2012.

Pre-ordered units of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S3 can be picked up on May 29, while other consumers who have not pre-ordered the device will have their chance to purchase the successor to the Samsung Galaxy S2 on May 30. The smartphone will be available in the market on the same date.

Consumers who would want to get the tickets to the Olympics would have to be at the Samsung Store in the Westfield shopping center at around 5PM or one hour before the smartphones will be made available for consumers who pre-ordered the device.

The upcoming Samsung Galaxy S3 is the official smartphone for this year’s Olympics, which may be the reason for the incentive offered by the South Korean company in connection to the games. In addition to the upcoming Samsung Galaxy SIII, a special edition Samsung Galaxy Note will also be offered by O2 for the games.

The upcoming Samsung Galaxy S3 was unveiled during a special launch event that was held in London near the start of the month. The upcoming device will feature a 4.8-inch 720p HD screen, quad core processor, and the latest version of the Android OS of Google.

Among the features that will be offered by the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S3 are the S-Voice, Pop-Up Play and Smart Stay. The S-Voice feature of the smartphone is similar to the Siri virtual personal assistant of Apple while the Pop-Up Play feature allows users to watch videos on a player that is floating over the browser.

The Smart Stay feature of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S3 keeps the screen activated until the user looks away from the display.
