The upcoming Nokia Lumia 900 is the initial high-end Windows Phone device from Nokia to be offered in the US market. The upcoming device offering of Nokia (NYSE:NOK) is reportedly going to be available in the market by March.
The source of the reports was from a newsletter from Nokia that was posted online. It also revealed that the upcoming Nokia Lumia 900 will be exclusively offered into the market by AT&T (NYSE:T) when it enters the market by March.
The soon-to-be-released Nokia Lumia 900 was introduced by the company during the Consumer Electronics Show which was held in Las Vegas recently. The price tag and the specific release date of the Windows Phone unit was not revealed by the company as it only revealed that the device will be released through AT&T soon.
The upcoming Nokia Lumia 900 is the third Nokia device that is offered through the Lumia series of the company. Prior to the announcement of availability of the Nokia Lumia 900, the company made the Nokia Lumia 710 available in the market through T-Mobile.
But the Nokia Lumia 710 was met with mixed reviews from industry watchers and consumers. The soon-to-be-released Nokia Lumia 900 is supposedly a combination of the Nokia N9 and the Nokia Lumia 800.
The upcoming Nokia Lumia 900 will feature a AMOLED Clear Black screen measuring 4.3 inches, which is the biggest display for a Lumia product, along with a 1.4GHz microprocessor and 1830 mAh battery.
One notable feature found on the Nokia Lumia 900 is the camera that features the Carl Zeiss optics which provides a wide focal angle and large aperture. These features give the users of the upcoming Lumia offering of Nokia better images even when it is used at low-light conditions.
Aside from this, the front camera of the Nokia Lumia 900 also features a large aperture along with a wide angle lens which offers sharper and brighter images as well as an impressive video calling feature.
