New Slim Card Slot and Retina Display for iPhone 5

There is still no date regarding the launch of the latest iPhone from Apple, however a new rumor about the device has been circulating all over the nation. According to reports, the sixth generation iPhone will have a new slot for its SIM card and a retina screen display of only 4.6 inches. The Cupertino-based company says that its upcoming phone may not be called the iPhone 5. But what they knew for sure is that it will have a retina display that is 4.6 inches wide which is larger than the usual smartphone screens.

Though Apple has been manufacturing their phones with only 3.5 inches for five years or even more, they see the need to develop larger versions of the iPhone with better display quality because it appears to be the new trend in the smartphone market. The iPhone may lose out to the Android phones of their rival companies which have larger screen displays if it does not go with the trend.

Other reports about the new gadget say that the new generation iPhone will be named N96 and will be equipped with the same chip that the company used with the iPad 3. As such, it is expected to work faster in the smaller body of the phone.

The chip known as the A5X is not only faster and better than the old A5 chip of the old iPhone but it is also known to be better than the Tegra 3 processor. This is according to a study by Laptop Mag where they compared the different processors of devices. They found the A5x is faster because it can display frames in a speed that is twice the capability of Tegra 3.

However, the Tegra 3 was faster in memory performance and integer performance. The phone manufacturing industry has definitely changed a lot since last year. Therefore, Apple’s marketing researchers found it crucial that the new iPhone has to adapt to the trend to get ahead once more to its rival mobile manufacturing companies and to please its avid supporters.
