New IPad: Still a Hot Item Despite Several User Complaints

The iPad has been a hot item contained in the news since the day of its launch. There have been bad news like overheating, battery life and Wifi reception that have been surrounding it. Those bad reports are balanced by the good news that even if there are several complaints regarding the newest Apple tablet, many consumers would still want to buy the latest version of the famous iPad line.

Chitika Insights say that the new iPad presently consists 6.6% of all the tablets in the Internet. This seems like an insignificant figure but it is actually high when the length of time that the iPad has been available in the market is considered. Moreover, that rate accounts for about 3,960,000 new iPad units sold which still does not include the unit sales generated in the last few days.

The source was able to come up with that figure by examining the new iPad’s internet traffic presence. Even if its computation is not 100% accurate, it is a good estimate. Also, it can even be an underestimation of the number of units sold because it is highly possible that several new iPads are already in their owners’ hands that have not been accounted for online.

With the figures that the new iPad is generating, the question that remains is where is the tablet actually headed? Many consumers think that there is no other direction that the iPad can go to except to move higher in its sales because it is already generating impressive figures.

The new iPad is also expected to just keep on making remarkable sales as shown by the increased production of its new displays provided by LG and Sharp. Furthermore, with the upcoming wedding and graduation season, more consumers are expected to purchase the latest Apple tablet. With the numbers that the new iPad is generating, it will not come as a surprise that half of all users of the iPad tablet will own the new iPad.
