The upcoming HTC One X will also become the first device offering of AT&T that features an integrated Beats audio technology. Around $300 million was invested by HTC in Beats which has resulted to the integration of the technology into its handset offerings.
The HTC One X will feature a 4.7-inch display with a resolution of 1280 x 720, 1.5Ghz dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor, 8MP camera that can record 1080p videos, an image processing chip that facilitates auto-focusing, and a 1.3MP camera in front. The upcoming device offering of AT&T will also feature the latest version of the HTC Sense customized user interface.
The audio technology used on the HTC One X will offer distortion-free sounds when the volume is increased while the bass is enhanced in all levels. These enhancements on the HTC One X will be noted whenever users play games, stream music or watch movies using the device.
The upcoming HTC One X will use the 4G LTE network of AT&T, which has gradually expanded to around 32 cities across the United States. Together with the HTC One S, the HTC One X will be the flagship devices of AT&T. The US versions of these two devices are somewhat different from the European version, where they were introduced earlier by HTC.
Aside from AT&T, Sprint (NYSE:S) will also offer the HTC One X into the US market but it will give the device a different name, The HTC EVO 4G LTE. Pre-orders for the Sprint version of the device will start on May 7 and will also have a price tag of around $200.
