A blue-colored version of the Motorola Droid Razr was announced recently by Verizon (NYSE:VZ). Information about the blue color option for the Motorola Droid Razr was initially leaked earlier and was confirmed through an image that was supposed to have a price tag of around $149 with the standard two-year service contract through Verizon.
The Motorola Droid Razr was initially released into the market last November and the upcoming color option for this particular smartphone from Motorola (NYSE:MMI) will become one of the options that consumers will be able to choose from if they will purchase the device.

The blue-colored version of this Motorola smartphone will have the same features as the other color options of the device. The blue Motorola Droid Razr will reportedly become available in the market by May 17 and it will support the 4G LTE network of Verizon.
This color option for the device is currently available in black, purple and white. Although online orders for the blue Motorola Droid Razr will start on May 17, reports have indicated that it is already available in a number of selected retail outlets in the United States.
The Motorola Droid Razr features a Super AMOLED screen measuring 4.3 inches and has a resolution of 540 by 960. The device also offers around 12.5 hours of talk time, which is higher compared to the smartphones currently available in the market. The device also features a dual-core processor with a graphics processor and 1GB RAM.
The internal memory of the Motorola Droid Razr is at 16GB although it can be expanded through a microSD or a microSDHC memory card to increase its storage to 32GB. The 8MP camera of the Motorola Droid Razr features an f2.4 lens, LED flash, auto-focus feature and the capability of recording 1080p videos.
The blue Motorola Droid Razr will have a price tag of around $100 after a rebate of $50 for the Mother’s Day celebration.
