Limited Release of LG Optimus 4X HD by June

LG Optimus 4X HD is set to be released in a number of markets in Europe by June. This was revealed recently by LG as it is set to make the quad-core smartphone that was initially introduced during the Mobile World Congress last February. Aside from Europe, the LG Optimus 4X HD is also expected to be released in some Asian, Central American, and South American markets in a few moths time.

The LG Optimus 4X HD will have a quad-core 1.5GHz processor, 4.7-inch screen display with a 1280 by 720 resolution, 1GB RAM and a 16GB internal memory. According to the company, the LG Optimus 4X HD will feature additional modifications since it was initially unveiled by the company. The device will reported feature the SIO+ technology that allows the run time of the battery to be extended. The LG Optimus 4X HD currently features Media Plex and Quick Memo.

The upcoming LG device will also come with an 8MP camera at the back and 1.3MP camera in front, DLNA support and a 2150mAh battery. The Quick Memo feature was initially integrated into the LG Optimus Vu and it offers users the capability of writing notes and markups on screen images that can be shared to other users.

The Media Plex feature is a suite of applications that enhances the media player of the LG Optimus 4X HD. It also offers a pinch zoom feature on videos, playback speed adjustment, view thumbnails of videos while a playback is ongoing, and a screenshot preview in some parts of the video using the progress bar.

For the moment LG has not revealed which mobile service provider will be including the LG Optimus 4X HD on their lineup. The specific markets were also unavailable for the moment although the United Kingdom is expected to be included in this particular list where the device will be made available by June.
