The LG smart phone is equipped with an ultra-fast central processor and a breath-taking HD camera. However, the Optimus 4X is not the only awesome new phone in the market since the Samsung Galaxy Note is also a tough rival of the HTC One X. So how do the two high-tech gadgets compare in features and performance?
For the screen, the LG Optimus 4X HD has a 1280x720 resolution HD-IPS touch-screen that has a pixel density of 312ppi. That is somewhat second-rate to the Super AMOLED Corning Gorilla Glass display of the Samsung Galaxy Note that has a resolution of 1280x800 and runs at 285ppi. An addition to the scratch-free glass and the awesome touch-screen features, the Galaxy Note also has the TouchWiz 4.0 UI which makes the hardware work faster and makes it more sensitive to actions.

As for the processor, the Optimus 4X HD has the upper-hand with its superb 1.5 GHz quad-core processor and further improved by the Tegra 3 chipset that makes internet surfing quick and lag-free. The Galaxy Note has a dual-core 1.4GHz ARM Cortex-A9 processor and the Exynos chipset. Moreover, it has the Mali-400 GPU that makes the battery life longer and the visuals faster.
Both devices boast of their high-tech back and front cameras. The Optimus 4X HD has an 8 MP camera at the back which has 3264 x 2448 pixel resolution. Some of its features include a face detector, a smile shutter, image stability and touch focus. It also has an impressive 1080p high definition video recording and a front camera of 1.3 MP good for video calling and self-portraits.
On the other hand, the Samsung Galaxy Note also has an 8 MP rear camera with an Auto Focus feature and it is further enhanced with a LED flash and self-adjustment feature. It also has a 2 pixel front camera that captures images in 1080p HD quality. For internal memory, both have 16 gigabytes and can further be upgraded by a micro SD that can support up to 32 GB. Both also have the Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n but the LG phone has the A2DP Bluetooth tech, while the Samsung Note has Bluetooth 3.0.
Furthermore, the LG phone already runs with the Android 4.0 ICS while the Note still runs on Gingerbread. However users should not be dismayed for they could upgrade it to the newest ICS. Both phones are superb, jam packed with amazing to please customers. However, the choice between the two will depend upon the individual's preference in a smart phone.
