LG Optimus 2X with Cinema Like Specs Hitting Europe This Month

LG Electronics has announced the launch of world's first smartphone with dual-core processor - LG Optimus 2X in major European markets. Optimus 2X, released in January in the Korean market, will appear in Europe later this month.

Equipped with dual core processor NVIDIA Tegra 2, smartphone LG Optimus 2X has better performance specs for viewing the web-pages and playing games, compared with smartphones, which have single-core processor with the same frequency.

Users will get all the benefits of fast switching between applications and instant response to screen touch, as well as rich graphics and game playing as if they are played on a full-fledged gaming console.

LG Optimus 2X extends the features of multimedia, offering the possibility to record and playback Full HD video in 1080p. The smartphone is optimized for connectivity and file sharing, LG Optimus 2X can easily connect to a TV or PC via HDMI connector. And thanks to built-in gyroscopic sensor the smartphone gives a great experience of playing games on TV screen, and the quality is comparable to gaming on modern consoles.

As the first mobile device that provides 7.1-channel surround sound, LG Optimus 2X is the gadget that gives almost cinema-quality entertainment on your mobile device. Moreover, file sharing has been much more simplified with the support for DLNA, through which you can share the stored content with compatible digital devices.
