The upcoming LG Optimus LTE 2 and the Samsung Galaxy S3 will use the Android 4.0 OS and will feature a display that is around five inches in size. The two recently unveiled devices will feature 4G LTE network support and have a wireless charging capability.
But is appears that the latest device offering of LG will come with a 2GB RAM and will give users the capability of taking pictures through verbal commands. The launch of the LG Optimus LTE 2 comes within eight months after the first version of the device was unveiled by the company.
The upcoming LG Optimus LTE 2 comes with a TrueHD IPS screen display measuring 4.7 inches, which is similar to its predecessor, The device will also feature a 1,5GHz dual-core processor, the Snapdragon S4 chipset from Qualcomm (NASDAQ:QCOM) and the Adreno 225 graphics. In addition to the Ice Cream Sandwich Android, the upcoming LG Optimus LTE 2 also features the Optimus UI 3.0 custom UI of LG.
The upcoming LG smartphone will also feature an eight-megapixel camera with a LED flash, NFC capability, and Bluetooth connectivity. The 16GB internal storage of the LG Optimus LTE 2 can be expanded with an additional 32GB of extra storage through an expansion slot.
The power efficiency of the upcoming LG Optimus LTE 2 was also enhanced by around forty percent, which would give users around ten hours of talk time and a standby time of around 225 hours.
The upcoming LG Optimus LTE 2 will be available in South Korea at around $803 although a subsidized price tag may be provided to customers of the different mobile service operators of this Asian country.
