After so many speculations about the upcoming production and possible features of the new iPhone, consumers can now be guaranteed that the iPhone 5 is in the testing stage. This indicates that the consumers might be able to see the new iPhone 5 in no time. However, what’s more interesting are the results of the tests.
9to5mac.com, which correctly predicted features of the iPhone in the past, said that some potential designs for the iPhone 5 are currently being tested by the tech giant Apple. Their objective is to sense what will and will not go well with the future iPhone.
The existing prototypes are only present in Apple Headquarters based in Cupertino, so they are not available to the public as of now. On the other, Apple is known for shipping the iPhone prototypes, so the consumers might get a glimpse of the iPhone 5 soon.

iPhone 5
According to the report from 9to5mac, there are two prototypes at present that feature a bigger screen size than that of the iPhone 4S. In fact, these two prototypes have been named the iPhone 5.1 and the iPhone 5.2. While there are only a few differences in the design, both prototypes feature the same 3.999-inch display and it measures 3.484 inches in height and 1.9632 in width.
More importantly, the display will not only be larger than the previous ones but it will also be better than its predecessors in terms of quality. It will feature a display resolution of 640 x 1136 pixels, which indicates that the users can watch 16:9 videos on their iPhone 5.
Additionally, there are smaller dock connectors for the iPhone 5 prototypes. This has already been mentioned in previous articles so it’s not much of a shock. There are no further updates on the features of the iPhone 5 but 9to5mac will give some more details soon after this week.
