HTC gave its official statement regarding the recent replacement of its Chief Financial Officer (CFO). The released statement denied speculations that the company is showing a weakening commitment to Dr. Dre's Beats Audio. HTC's Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Peter Chou, specifically said that the integration of the technology of brand of Beats audio in the new series of the company known as HTC ONE is a clear sign of its commitment to the partnership.
The previous CFO Mr. Winston Yung, who is being moved to a more corporate development position, had been associated by many to the earlier excitement surrounding the Beats audio.
HTC released a statement to Slashgear saying that it recently announced the movement of Mr. Winston Yung, the previous CFO to a role in corporate development and his replacement by Mr. Chia Lin Chang. The company's CEO, Mr. Peter Chou, also said that speculations in the media that links the announcement with the company's joint venture and investment in Dre's Beats technology is definitely inaccurate. He added that the partnership between the two has made amazing progress in brand awareness and innovation and this is evident in the Beats integration in the latest One Series of the company.

The reasons for Yung's movement and replacement by Chia Lin Chang are not yet known. Yung had been a member of the executive team of the company and is known to be responsible for several of HTC's public announcements on strategy including the confirmation of the existence of the Studio division behind the range of handsets offered in 2012.
That line of phones is set to start stronger compared to any other device of the company during the past year. A lot of analysts were impressed by the One X, surprised by the high end goals of the One S and most recently amazed with the solid all-around One V handsets.
