HTC has just presented its new flagship smartphone Sensation. However, the company did not stop with the announcement while exaggerating its new excellent gadget, but also talked about other releases and plans in store during the current year.
In particular, the Taiwanese manufacturer while revealing the price of new tablet HTC Flyer said that it will hit the European market on May 9. At the same time, the company has denied recent rumors about possible problems related to the shipping of tablet.
However, HTC did not elaborate what would be the extent of sales of HTC Flyer. So the company may well go ahead with only a limited edition of slates, which are expected to be released in the beginning of next month.
In the meantime, HTC Flyer tablets are available for pre-order with the British companies Clove and Carphone Warehouse, which are selling the gadget at a price of 980 dollars.
It must be recalled that under the hood HTC Flyer has single-core processor clocked at 1.5 GHz, 1 GB of RAM, 7-inch capacitive touch display with resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels, 5 megapixel main camera, 1.3-megapixel front camera, Bluetooth 3.0 with A2DP support, Wi-Fi 802.11 b / g / n, GPS, digital compass, accelerometer, 3.5-mm headphone jack, 16 GB of internal memory and slot for microSD memory cards.
It is reported that immediately after the release, HTC Flyer tablet will work run Google Android 2.4 Gingerbread operating system, which in future will be updated with Android 3.0 Honeycomb that is more familiar with tablets. However, timing of this update has not been revealed.
