HTC Evo One May Be Released Through Sprint

Following the release of the HTC Evo 4G, the device outperform other Android-powered smartphones in the market at that time. With its 1GHz processor, screen display measuring 4.3 inches and a pair of cameras, the HTC (TPE:2498) device got the better of its rivals. Apparently the company aims to relive the same admiration it achieved with the upcoming HTC Evo One.

The upcoming HTC Evo One is supposedly a rebranding of the HTC One X and may be unveiled in an upcoming event scheduled soon if recent reports are proven to be accurate. The old HTC Evo 4G was considered among the best Android-powered smartphones in the market which was prized by its users. This may be what the company aims to duplicate once it introduces the upcoming HTC Evo One.

Reports have indicated that the latest partnership between HTC and Sprint will be a dual-core model of the One X in place of the quad-core device offered in Europe. Although some consumers may feel a little bit uneasy with the specs, the upcoming HTC Evo One will utilize the latest 4G LTE network of Sprint (NYSE:S).

There may also be some concerns raised with the battery life of the upcoming HTC Evo One, which will remain uncertain until the device hits the market.

The upcoming HTC Evo One will reportedly feature a 4.7-inch display screen, dual-core 1.5GHz processor from Qualcomm, and a 16GB storage that can be expanded though a microSD memory card slot. The device will also feature an eight-megapixel camera at the back along with a two-megapixel in front and the Beats audio.

The upcoming HTC Evo One will use the Ice Cream Sandwich Android 4.0 OS with the latest HTC Sense 4.0 UI.

The press event for the upcoming HTC Evo One is scheduled to be held on April 4 even as a marketing campaign was launched by the company prior to the official launch of the device.
