The HTC Droid Incredible 4G LTE of Verizon (NYSE:VZ), which features the latest version of the Android OS of Google (NASDAQ:GOOG), was announced recently by HTC (TPE:2498). Although the HTC Droid Incredible 4G LTE of Verizon has a similar appearance as the HTC One S of T-Mobile since it is the Verizon version of the device that is being sold by T-Mobile. The HTC Droid Incredible 4G LTE of Verizon comes with a feature that is not found on the T-Mobile version of the device.The HTC Droid Incredible 4G LTE offers support for the 4G LTE network of Verizon. The HTC Droid Incredible 4G LTE features a four-inch qHD display screen, dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor and a microSD memory card slot that can expand the internal memory of the device up to 32GB.

The smartphone offering of Verizon also features a camera with an eight-megapixel image resolution and has the capability of taking three shots for each second. The device also integrates the Beats Audio technology to offer an enhanced sound quality. The HTC Droid Incredible 4G LTE uses the Ice Cream Sandwich Android or the Android 4.0 operating system along with the HTC Sense 4.0 customized user interface.

Verizon has yet to announce the price tag of the recently-unveiled smartphone along with its specific release date into the market. However the company has indicated that the device is set to become available in the market in the coming weeks.

Reports have pointed to a $299 price tag for the HTC Droid Incredible 4G LTE although this remains uncertain since the HTC One S of T-Mobile, which is similar to the Verizon device, only has a price tag of $199 with the typical two-year mobile service contract. Some industry watchers have taken note of the improvement that the recently-introduced device to the HTC Incredible smartphone of Verizon.

The more significant enhancement is the 4G LTE network support of the HTC Droid Incredible 4G LTE.
