How iPhone 5 Can Be Better Than iPhone 4S

Anyone can probably guess that Apple's iPhone 5 will be released during the summer or in the latter parts of the fall season, prior to Christmas. Considering the fact that iPhone 4S made it on top of the sales records even with its previous versions, the iPhone 4 and iPhone 3GS, Apple must come up with a better and improved iPhone 5 to beat the sales of the iPhone 4S.

There are a few aspects where Apple can develop the iPhone 4S and have a well-made iPhone 5.

First is a new design to the iPhone 5. When iPhone 4S was released, one of its major letdowns was that its design was similar to that of the iPhone 4. Thus, it is probably better that Apple makes some modifications to the iPhone 5.

Second is having a bigger display. The in-thing for smartphones nowadays is having large screens, so adjusting the display of iPhone 5 to 4-inches will certainly entice users from other platforms. But the iPhone 4S has the perfect size for using it easily in one hand, thus trimming down the bezel at the edges of the iPhone 5 will result to a larger display yet still the same size.

Third is using a quad-core processor. The greatest competition of iPhone 5 is the Android platform, and there are rumors that future Android smartphones might all use quad-core processors. iPhone games are famous for its high-quality graphics, thus using a quad-core processor will definitely enhance this feature.

Fourth is having 4G LTE wireless capability. Verizon, AT&T and Sprint, three carriers which sell the iPhone 4S, are all preparing for LTE devices. Therefore, it is just appropriate that Apple should do the same.

Last is a slimmer design for the iPhone 5. The iPhone 5 could be thinner than the iPhone 4S, the same with the transformation of the iPad 2 from the first iPad. The crucial thing is to produce a slim iPhone 5 that has enough space for the battery and LTE radio.
