Google Nexus Tablet to Be Introduced by June

Reports have given indications that the upcoming Google Nexus tablet may be introduced by Google (NASDAQ:GOOG) during the upcoming I/O conference that is scheduled to start on June 27 in San Francisco. A trusted source was supposedly the source on the report on the upcoming introduction of the upcoming Google Nexus tablet. According to the reports, one unit of the upcoming device will be given to all developers who will be attending the event.

Earlier reports have hinted that the upcoming Google Nexus tablet will be the result of the collaboration between Google and Asus (TPE:2357). The supposed first Nexus tablet of Google will reportedly feature a seven-inch screen display.

Reports have also indicated that the upcoming Google Nexus tablet will feature a quad-core Tegra processor from Nvidia (NASDAQ:NVDA). Some reports have also hinted at the possibility that the upcoming device will feature the next version of the Android mobile platform of Google, the Jelly Bean Android 5.0 OS although some reports have doubted that the device will feature this upcoming Android OS.

Reports on an upcoming Google Nexus tablet have been circulation for some time already although these reports had some conflicting information on the possible features that the upcoming device will come with. Reports on the release schedule of the upcoming Google Nexus tablet have also been conflicting although a recent report hinted at the possibility that the upcoming device will be launched by July.

An analyst from NPD DisplaySearch, Richard Shim, also revealed in an earlier report that the production of the tablet was supposed to start last April.

Aside from the Google Nexus tablet, some reports have also given indications that five devices using the Nexus brand will be launched by the company on November 5 to celebrate the fifth anniversary of the Android mobile platform.

For the moment no statements were released by Google in connection to the upcoming Google Nexus tablet.
