Doubts Emerge on Supposed Leaked Samsung Galaxy S3 Image

The latest reported leaked image of the Samsung Galaxy S3 shows that the South Korean company is still using plastic for its upcoming smartphone. The Samsung Galaxy S3 is the successor to the popular Samsung Galaxy S2 that was released last year and is considered as among the much-awaited smartphone offering of the South Korean company.

Reports on the possible release date of the Samsung Galaxy S3 were varied with some hinting at an April to May release window. Another report specified the release date of the upcoming Samsung smartphone, on May 22, as indicated on a possible launch event for the device. A third potential release schedule is sometime in June during the London Olympics 2012. Samsung is one of the major sponsors of the quadrennial games.

However all of these reported release schedules of the Samsung Galaxy S3 have remained unconfirmed by Samsung so far and the specific release date will remain uncertain until the confirmation is made by the South Korean company.

The latest supposed leaked image of the Samsung Galaxy S3 hints at the possibility that the upcoming release of the device may be coming soon.

But a number of industry watchers have doubted the authenticity of the leaked images with one technology website stating that the leaked image was a fake. The supposed leaked image of the Samsung Galaxy S3 was reportedly provided by an anonymous source to a technology website in Poland.

Despite the lack of any confirmations a number of news sites have re-posted the supposed leaked image of the Samsung Galaxy S3.

Earlier reports have hinted that the Samsung Galaxy S3 will feature a quad-core processor along with a twelve-megapixel camera. Together with the iPhone 5 of Apple, these two devices have hogged the headlines recently with a number of reports revealing the supposed features that these two upcoming devices will offer to users.
