Deliveries of the latest Nook Simple Touch has reportedly started already according to recent reports. Due to this, some industry watchers are not surprised with the early release of the Nook Simple Touch a number of weeks before it was scheduled to be released.
According to the company the delivery of the pre-ordered units of the Nook Simple Touch will start within the week, which comes ahead of the announced schedule. The shipping of the pre-ordered units of the latest product of Barnes & Noble will reportedly continue all the way through the month.
The Nook Simple Touch is the first e-ink reader to be released into the market and the lighting technology used on the device will make it possible for users to read even in the dark. The technology used on the device will make reading comfortable even at night.
Barnes & Noble is reportedly struggling to meet the demand for the Nook Simple Touch although it remains uncertain how many units the company has projected to sell during the pre-order period of the device. The company revealed that the demand for the device was bigger than what they had expected.
Industry watchers also anticipate a limited inventory of the Nook Simple Touch once it is officially made available in retail outlets in the early part of May. Potential buyers who wish to give the Nook Simple Touch with GlowLight as a gift near the start of next month are advised to pre-order the device since it is going to be available on a first-come, first serve basis once it reaches store shelves.
The Nook Simple Touch with GlowLight is basically similar to previous versions of the device with the GlowLight technology as the main difference that it has over its predecessors.
