The beta version of the BlackBerry 10 OS is expected to be launched by the company while a Dev Alpha device will be released to developers who will join the event.
Numerous apps designed for the BlackBerry 10 OS are expected to be showcased during the event while some developers may showcase some apps they are creating for the upcoming OS.
However the absence of a BlackBerry device may disappoint BlackBerry enthusiasts since the BlackBerry Bold 9900 was unveiled by the company during the same event last year. RIM has indicated that the first device using the BlackBerry 10 OS will be launched during the second half of the year.
