Los Angeles Galaxy midfielder and England’s international football legend David Beckham has decided to sell his favorite convertible Porsche 911 Turbo, in connection with which he has his luxury supercar for sale on the Internet auction site eBay.
Reasons for selling the car are not clear, but we only know that the bidding for this car started at $75,000 that has already been offered $209,000 by a bidder at time of publication of this news.
Report of the lot states that convertible Porsche 911 Turbo is in perfect condition. The car has never been involved in any accident or crash, for two years of its ownership by Beckham the car was driven only for 11000 miles and it is still under warranty (until September 2011). It has also been highlighted in the report that the previous owner never smoked inside the car.
According to the sources, David Beckham purchased this convertible in February 2008 for $145,790 dollars. And in the 2009 he spent about another 10000 dollars on exclusive customization. It has custom made silver ’23′ emblems on the bonnet, boot lid, wheels and steering wheel as well as embroidered on the front and rear seats and custom fitted floor mats. Number 23 is the distinctive feature of all the other cars from Beckham’s garage including Lincoln Navigator, Cadillac Escalade and Bentley GTC, as the number corresponds to his shirt at Los Angeles Galaxy, where he has been playing for the last few years.
According to the latest bids, Beckham’s used Porsche 911 Turbo has already crossed the price of $209,000 and the auction at ebay will end at 17:53:02 PST on 14th Jan.
