This prediction comes as recent reports have hinted at a possible release of the iPhone 5 of Apple in the second quarter of the year. The fact that the iPhone 4S is still doing well in the market may be the reason for the projected October release of the next version of the iPhone of Apple.
An earlier prediction of the analyst hinted at the release of the iPhone 5 in August. Munster also revealed that some issues were noted in the supply of the radio chips that were meant for the device as Qualcomm is reportedly facing problems in meeting the demand.
Reports have indicated that some manufacturing constraints have prevented Qualcomm to meet the demand for the component that will be used on the iPhone 5
Earlier reports have hinted that the screen size of the upcoming iPhone 5 will be increased from the current 3.5 inches on the iPhone 4S to around 4.6 inches. The current screen size of the iPhone 4S is much smaller than the display of the latest Android-powered and Windows Phone-powered devices.
The 4.6-inch display for the iPhone 5 will make it near to the screen size on the Samsung galaxy Nexus and the HTC Titan II which have screen sizes of 4.65 inches and 4.7 inches respectively. However it does not compare to the screen size of the Samsung Galaxy Note, which is at 5.3 inches.
Reports have indicated that the upcoming iPhone 5 may also feature a new design for its body.
