The upcoming Samsung Galaxy S3 has reportedly been made available for pre-orders at the German site of Amazon (NASDAQ:AMZN) recently revealed the features that will come with the upcoming smartphone offering from Samsung. The Samsung Galaxy S3 will feature a 4.7-icnh Super AMOLED display, which is slightly bigger than earlier reports that indicated a screen size of 4.65 inches.
The upcoming Samsung smartphone will also feature an internal memory of 16GB which can be expanded to 32GB. This comes as recent reports have hinted that the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S3 will feature a 4.8-inch display that features a full HD resolution with an aspect ratio of 16:9
The upcoming Samsung Galaxy S3 will reportedly feature a 12MP camera with an integrated LED flash and will come with the Android 4.0 OS of Google (NASDAQ:GOOG). For the moment, the release date of the Samsung Galaxy S3 remains uncertain although a recently released invitation hinted that the device may be unveiled by Samsung in a May 3 event that is scheduled to be held in London.
Latest images of the device were leaked recently while a video posted on a Vietnamese website gave industry watchers a look at the upcoming device from Samsung. The images and video has hinted that the Samsung Galaxy S3 will feature a screen resolution of 1184 by 720 with a dpi of around 320.
Reports have also hinted that the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S3 will feature an optional wireless charging support. It remains uncertain if the charging station for the wireless charging support will be packaged together with the device. The report indicated that the Samsung Galaxy S3 can be charged when it is around one to two meters from its charging station.
Basing on the supposed features of the Samsung Galaxy S3, it appears to be a moderate update from the previous version of the device although it is still a notable device according to some industry watchers.
