Amazon and Oracle Join Forces for Cloud Web Hosting

Amazon has announced plans that they will be coming together with Oracle to enhance their Cloud Hosting services. Cloud hosting is with Amazon and Amazon says that it has a joint venture with Oracle's 11g database to enhance its web hosting abilities. Amazon is saying that their partnership with Oracle will allow for things to be done anytime of the day, 24-7.

Amazon states that the new database access will happen during the second quarter of 2011 and for now that they will have a database that is related with Oracle that will show user how the new interface will work. Amazon Web Services say that their customers are very excited about this new venture and the possibilities that comes with it are endless.

'Amazon databases will be allowed to run with existing Oracle databases and it will cut down the expenses that will come associated with downloading the other databases. We have already started the conversations with existing customers so they can plan themselves for future deployments' says Amazon Web Services vice president of database services, Raju Galbaiani.

Amazon Web Services say that they are giving their users time for the integration of the Cloud Hosting Services. They say that they are trying to give their IT professionals time to get ready for the combination with Cloud Hosting Services.

Overall, critics say that it will bring down the overall costs and it will give businesses a better option and more optimal services than they were offered before with Cloud Hosting Services. It will be a more efficient way to handle databases.
