The Ivy Bridge processors of Intel are set to be featured on the 2012 versions of some of the M-series gaming laptops of Alienware. Aside from the latest Intel (NASDAQ:INTC) processors, the M14X, the M17X and the M18X gaming laptops of Alienware will also feature the latest graphics cards from Nvidia (NASDAQ:NVDA) as well as the mSATA SSD drives.
The M-series gaming laptops of Alienware are among the first devices to be released with the Ivy Bridge processors of Intel. The Ivy Bridge processors offer an enhanced performance although its power requirements and physical size have remained small.

The graphics on the devices using the Ivy Bridge processors are also enhanced according to Intel. Using the 6-series Nvidia graphics card will further enhance the graphics capabilities of the M-series gaming laptops of Alienware.
Aside from the Ivy Bridge processor and Nvidia graphics, the upcoming M-series laptops of Alienware will also feature an mSATA drive which is a small capacity SSD drive that allows faster reading compared to conventional hard drives.
Even as the internal components of the M-series gaming laptops of Alienware have been upgraded, the external design has remained the same. The size and color options of the devices are still the same although some observers would have preferred a smaller size for the M-series gaming laptops of Alienware.
The price tag of the upcoming M-series gaming laptops of Alienware with the Ivy Bridge processors have yet to be revealed although it may be possible to have a similar price tag as the present models of the devices. These upcoming M-series gaming laptops of Alienware can be customized by users when they are purchase. These customizations cover the size of the devices, the processors, RAM, color, storage and the physical appearance.
The upcoming M-series gaming laptops of Alienware with the Ivy Bridge processor are set to be made available in the market soon.
