A Possible Pebble Blue Samsung Galaxy S3 Shortage

Even as the Samsung Galaxy S3 is set to be released in London by the end of the month, it appears that it may be facing some shortages in two color options, the pebble blue and the white models of the device. Reports have indicated that around 600,000 units of the pebble blue battery cover for the Samsung Galaxy S3 were disposed of by the company due to some errors in production.

In addition to the pebble blue battery cover, the white color option will also face some delays according to an email from a retailer that will be offering the Samsung Galaxy S3. The retailer indicated that the introduction of the marble white version of the Samsung Galaxy S3 may experience a slight delay in the email that it released recently.

According to the retailer it is expecting to be among the first retailers to offer the upcoming Samsung smartphone into the market once it is officially released on May 29. The supplier of the retailer initially gave a May 25 delivery of the device but was not able to meet this particular deadline. This has resulted to an awkward position for the retailer which may affect the name and reputation of the retailer.

The retailer expects the blue model of the Samsung Galaxy S3 to become available before the white color option will be released into the market. The white color option of the successor to the Samsung Galaxy S2 will reportedly be delivered on June 1.

Apparently these delays will affect the release of the Samsung Galaxy S3 in the market in the United Kingdom. It remains uncertain if this particular delay will also affect the official release of the device into the United States.

But this may affect consumers who are aiming to import the international version of the Samsung Galaxy S3 into the United States.
